Our Services

Forests & Fields Consulting Inc. (FFCI) is a company offering forest- and land-management related services. These include writing and submitting managed forest plans for Ontario’s Managed Forest Tax Incentive Program; invasive species and vegetation management through both mechanical and chemical means; plantation management, including thinning; forest trail clearing and management; and tree care. Sustainably managing lands and forests involves an array of skills and approaches, and FFCI is well-positioned to provide this service.

Our Core Team At FOREST & Fields Consulting

Our mission is to help landowners understand how to become stewards of their properties.

FFCI is owned by Rainer Kurt Dinkelmann, R.P.F. who holds several certifications and accreditations giving him the expertise needed to carry out this work. These include a Forestry Technician Diploma from Fleming College; a Bachelor of Environmental Studies from the University of Waterloo; a Master of Forest Conservation from the University of Toronto; a membership as a Registered Professional Forester with the Ontario Professional Foresters Association; a Managed Forest Plan Approver certification from the Government of Ontario; a Certified Arborist certification from the International Society of Arboriculture; and several pesticide exterminator licences.
